8:00 - 17:00 Aircraft Accident: Dealing with the Consequences! - Presented by Bombardier Accident Investigation Team
You’ve just received a call from your local FAA Field Service District Office. One of your airplanes just departed the runway upon landing. The initial report is that the right main landing gear collapsed upon landing causing the aircraft to veer off the runway; the right wing appears to be on fire. Passengers and flight crew can be seen exiting the left side of the airplane! This is your company’s first ever serious occurrence. What’s next? What should you do? Do you have an emergency response plan? What will you say to the media? What will you say to the family members involved in this occurrence? This workshop will include ‘practice’ interviews with real reporters, panel discussions with air safety investigators and attorneys with experience in aircraft accident litigation and more.
