13:00 - 14:45 Elevate Your SMS to A Success Management System **Waitlist**

 Presented By  Jay A. Dankoff

Recommended for: Aviation Managers, Maintenance Technicians

No one shows up at work expecting to be injured or killed, or cause others to be. Yet, these outcomes occur far too often due to gaps in knowledge, non-compliance with processes or procedures, or human error. Safety Management Systems (SMS) were developed to close these gaps, but the National Business Aviation Association identified through an online poll that, “the single largest challenge to implementing an effective SMS is employee participation.” This leads to the obvious question of “Why don’t employees participate?” Our research has identified four primary obstacles to employee participation within their SMS, and this workshop will give attendees the opportunity to discuss these obstacles and consider strategies for successfully overcoming them. By attending, you will learn how to actively improve your organization’s performance by turning your SMS into a Success Management System!
