Mr. Paul “BJ” Ransbury has been flying professionally for over 30 years. His flight experience spans a wide spectrum from general aviation advanced flight instruction to scheduled airlines to military fighter operations.

Driven by a responsibility to improve safety of flight to save lives in the aviation industry, he has been developing innovative training techniques and advanced flight training courses for individual pilots, corporate flight departments, government agencies, airlines and aircraft manufacturers for two decades. Mr. Ransbury’s primary focus has been to assess the evolving need for advanced flight training in aviation worldwide. APS is honored to be the official provider of In-Flight Upset Recovery Training for the Bombardier Leading Edge program since 2011.

Under his leadership as the President and CEO of APS, thousands of professional jet pilots at multiple APS locations on three continents have been comprehensively trained in industry-compliant and standardized upset prevention & recovery training techniques and mitigation strategies.
